For typical applications in boiler and cooling water systems, the recommended dosage of Geopure® 1057 is 20 to 50 ppm (parts per million), depending on feed water quality and scaling or sludge accumulation tendencies. For systems experiencing high scaling or sludge issues, an initial dosage of 40 to 50 ppm is advised to establish adequate protection and begin conditioning. Once the system is stabilized, maintain a dosage of 20 to 30 ppm for consistent scale and sludge control. This dosage can be adjusted based on real-time monitoring of system performance and water quality. Regular testing of system water parameters, including hardness and suspended solids, is recommended to optimize dosage and maximize treatment effectiveness.
