Physical Properties:
- Dual Action Scale and Sludge Control: Geopure® 1058 combines the scale-inhibiting power of SHMP with high-performance polymeric sludge conditioners to tackle both scale and sludge issues.
- Enhanced Heat Transfer Efficiency: By preventing deposits and maintaining clean heat transfer surfaces, Geopure® 1058 improves energy efficiency and reduces fuel costs in heat-dependent systems.
- Broad-Spectrum Performance: Effective across a range of water chemistries and temperatures, Geopure® 1058 provides reliable protection against scale and sludge formation in diverse industrial settings.
- Prevention of Scale Formation: The SHMP component chelates hardness ions, reducing the potential for calcium and magnesium scale formation in systems with high hardness levels.
- Reduced Maintenance Requirements: Helps prevent system fouling, lowering the need for frequent cleaning and minimizing costly downtime and labour expenses.
Geopure® 1058 is a comprehensive solution for scale and sludge control, ensuring efficient and reliable system operation for a wide variety of industrial applications. For typical industrial systems, the recommended dosage of Geopure® 1058 is 20 to 50 ppm (parts per million), depending on the water hardness, system volume, and degree of scale/sludge potential. For systems with existing scale or sludge issues, an initial dosage of 40 to 50 ppm is advised to achieve effective dispersion and conditioning of suspended particles. For continuous treatment and scale prevention, a dosage of 20 to 30 ppm is generally sufficient. This will help maintain clean surfaces and prevent new deposits from forming. Regularly test water quality and monitor sludge levels to adjust the dosage as needed based on system performance and changes in feed water characteristics.
