Non-Oxidizing Biocide for
Industrial Water Treatment
Geopure® 2070 is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum
non-oxidizing biocide formulated with DBNPA
(2,2-Dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide) for effective
microbial control in cooling towers and industrial
recirculating water systems. It quickly penetrates
biofilms and disrupts microbial cell function, eliminating
bacteria, algae, and fungi without affecting system
metallurgy or water chemistry.
Unlike oxidizing biocides, Geopure® 2070 is stable over a
wide pH range and remains effective in waters with high
organic or ammonia content, making it ideal for alternate
dosing with oxidizers to reduce microbial resistance and
extend treatment program performance.

- Specific Gravity (25 °C):1.02 – 1.04
- Solubility in water:Completely soluble
- Stability:Stable under normal storage; degrades rapidly in alkaline pH (>8.5) or high temperatures

| Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapour respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
