Dual-Action Non-Oxidizing
Biocide
Geopure® 2080 is a high-performance, dual-action
non-oxidizing biocide specially formulated with
Glutaraldehyde and Benzalkonium Chloride for superior
microbial control in cooling towers and industrial
recirculating water systems.
This synergistic blend combines the penetrative
biofilm-disrupting power of glutaraldehyde with the
membrane-acting surfactant biocidal activity of BKC,
delivering rapid kill rates against bacteria, algae,
fungi, and slime-forming microorganisms. Geopure® 2080
remains effective over a wide pH range and in systems with
high organic or ammonia content, making it a reliable
choice for challenging water conditions.
When alternated with oxidizing biocides, it helps prevent
microbial resistance and ensures long-term system
cleanliness and efficiency.

- Materials Compatibility:Compatible with most cooling system metallurgy; avoid contact with plain steel, galvanized steel, and natural rubber.

| Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapour respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
