Biocide
Geopure® 3100H is a powerful oxidizing biocide specially formulated for the effective disinfection of swimming pools, decorative fountains, and water features. It works rapidly to eliminate bacteria, algae, and other microorganisms while helping maintain clear, sparkling water. Its unique formulation ensures deep penetration into biofilms, delivering long-lasting cleanliness without leaving harmful residues. Geopure® 3100H is an ideal choice for environments where safety, water clarity, and hygiene are top priorities.

- Solubility:Completely miscible with water
- Stability:Decomposes to water & oxygen; decomposition accelerated by heat, light, alkali, and transition metals
- Materials of construction: HDPE/PP, PTFE, PVDF, 304/316 SS; avoid plain carbon steel, brass/copper, natural rubber
- Compatibility: Do not mix directly with chlorine, sulfites, strong alkalis, or catalysts (Fe, Cu, Mn salts)

Cooling Tower Water Treatment (open recirculating)
Objectives: microbial control, slime/algae mitigation, odor control.
Target residual: 80–120 mg/L as H₂O₂ for 4–6 h.
Temporarily minimize bleed-off; circulate with strainers cleaned afterward.
Routine control (pick one program)
- Continuous feed: Maintain 10–20 mg/L residual H₂O₂.
- Intermittent slug: 50–80 mg/L for 2–4 h, 3–5×/week (increase frequency in warm seasons or high organics).
- Algae-prone, sunlit basins:Morning burst 30–60 mg/L for 1–2 h; brush/skim as needed.
- Heavy biofilm recovery (with monitoring): Up to 150 mg/L for 6–12 h; watch metals, rubber goods, and odor/foaming; flush solids.
- Control & testing: Measure with peroxide test strips or titration (0–100/0–500 mg/L ranges).
Fountains & Ornamental Water
- Clear water, light load (continuous).
- Maintain 5–15 mg/L residual H₂O₂.
- Moderate organic load (continuous).
- Maintain 10–25 mg/L residual H₂O₂.
- Shock / cleanup: 30–60 mg/L for 2–4 h, then partial drain/flush and refill as needed.
- After refill/startup: 20–40 mg/L for 1–2 h before switching to maintenance setpoint.
Application Tips
- Injection point: High-turbulence recirculation line, downstream of filters; separate from chlorine feed
- Program pairing: Oxidizer days vs. non-oxidizer days to reduce resistance and materials stress
- Housekeeping: Brush/skim algae, purge dead biomass via bleed/blowdown
| Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapour respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
