AHU & FCU Coil Cleaner
Geoshine 001 is an alkali liquid formulation which helps
to removing the dust or airborne coating on air handling
units and prevents overheating and minimizes the excess
energy consumption. Geoshine 001 will not damage the
metallurgy of air handling units’ aluminium fins and helps
to clean the fins gently. Geoshine 001 is an organic
biodegradable foaming product to maintain gaps between
fins for free airflow.

- Products
- Deep Penetrating Formula: Effectively removes dust, grease, and grime trapped in coil fins without damaging surfaces.
- Fast & Easy Application: Saves maintenance time with quick-acting performance.
- Energy & Cost Saver: Clean coils improve airflow and heat transfer, lowering energy consumption and operating costs.
- Safe & Environmentally Friendly: Biodegradable and formulated with non-corrosive ingredients for safe use on all HVAC systems.
- Prolongs Equipment Life: Prevents fouling, reduces strain on fans and compressors, and extends coil life.
Geoshine 001 is typically diluted 1:4 ratio with water and applied to outdoor condenser coils using manual or pump type spray equipment. We recommend that Geoshine 001 to be added full strength directly with a spray gun and applied as an instant foam into the coil body. Geoshine 001 will produce an abundant amount of foam for several minutes. After application of Geoshine 001 the system must be rinsed with large amounts of water
Preparation
- Turn off the AHU/FCU system and isolate power supply.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE): gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.
- Remove any large debris or dust from coil surfaces using a soft brush or vacuum.
Dilution & Mixing
- Dilute Geoshine 001 according to the recommended ratio (1:5 to 1:10 with water).
- Mix gently to avoid excessive foaming.
Application
- Spray or pour the diluted solution evenly onto the coil surfaces.
- Ensure complete coverage of both the face and fins of the coil.
- Allow the solution to penetrate for 5–10 minutes, depending on the soil load.
Mechanical Assistance (if needed)
- For heavily fouled coils, use a soft-bristle brush or low-pressure spray to loosen stubborn deposits.
- Avoid bending coil fins.
Rinsing
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all chemical residues are removed.
- Use moderate water pressure to avoid damaging the fins.
Inspection & Drying
- Inspect coils to ensure all dirt and residues are removed.
- Allow the coil to dry completely before restarting the system.
Restart & Monitoring
- Restore power and restart the AHU/FCU.
- Monitor airflow, temperature differential, and overall performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
Tip: Regular coil cleaning with Geoshine 001 (every 3–6 months, depending on usage and environment) helps maintain energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and prolongs HVAC system life.
Unlike conventional acidic or alkaline cleaners, GEOSHINE 001 is specially formulated to clean effectively without damaging sensitive coil surfaces, ensuring longer equipment life and lower maintenance costs.
